Controller: Full-time, 40 hours/week. This position will report directly to the CFO. The primary purpose of this position is to support the fiscal services department and administration by compiling and producing financial data and adhering to the hospital's policies on finance, accounting, insurance, financial/accounting systems, internal controls and auditing.

Performance and Experience:

  • 7-10 years accounting experience with a Critical Access Hospital or equitable healthcare experience.
  • Knowledge of medical billing and third party reimbursement
  • Must have strong knowledge base regarding government accounting, general ledger, and healthcare reimbursement.
  • Understanding of and experience with computer business systems and design
  • High level of interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal skills, and effective leadership skills
  • Strong time management, problem-solving, and organization skills while accepting heavy workload
  • Ability to handle multiple high-priority projects simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate independent judgment and initiative

LPN , Skilled Nursing: Full-time, 36-40 hours/week. Nevada LPN license required. May be required to cross-train to other nursing departments. Previous experience preferred.

Registered Nurse, Skilled Nursing: Full-time, 36-40 hours/week. Nevada RN license required. May be required to cross-train to other nursing departments. Previous experience preferred.

Surgical Tech: Certification or three years of experience required. Position includes rotation of stand-by call and call back.

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room: Full-time, 36 hours/week. Nevada RN license required. Minimum 1 year emergency room experience preferred.

Registered Nurse, Labor and Delivery: Full-time, 36 hours/week. Nevada RN license required. Previous labor and delivery experience required.

Certified Nursing Assistant, Skilled Nursing: Full-time, 36-40 hours/week. Nevada C.N.A license required. May be required to cross-train to other nursing departments. Previous experience preferred.

Certified Nursing Assistant, Med/Surg: Full-time, 36 hours/week. Nevada C.N.A license required. Previous experience preferred.

Medical Technologist: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Must be able to obtain General Supervisor's License for State of Nevada. Primarily nights, rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays. Under the supervision of laboratory manager, perform clinical laboratory procedures to obtain data for use in diagnosis and treatment of diseases. Conduct chemical analysis of body fluids and quality assurance procedures. Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology required.

House Supervisor: Full-time, 36 hours/week. NV license required. Previous management experience preferred.

Registered Nurse, Med/Surg/ ICU: Full-time, 36 hours/week. Med/Surg and ICU experience required.

RN Circulator: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Includes rotation of standby and call back. Nevada RN license required. Previous experience preferred, however, may be willing to provide training.

RN Pre-Op & PACU: Casual Call position, Nevada RN license required. Previous experience preferred.

Pharmacy Technician: Casual Call, provides coverage on an intermittent basis. Previous experience and Nevada license required.

EMS/Registered Nurse: Full-time, 36-48hrs/week. Rotating shifts, working as a flight nurse and rotate through ER and Med/Surg/ICU. EMS RN license required.

Paramedic: Full-time , Previous experience preferred.

Dietary Aide/Cook: Casual Call. Previous experienced preferred

Unit Secretary/ Certified Nursing Assistant, Med/Surg: Full-time, 36 hours/week. Night shift position. Previous experience preferred and Nevada C.N.A. license required.

Environmental Services Manager: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Working manager position. Responsible for hospital wide housekeeping and laundry functions, scheduling, department budget. Previous institutional environmental management experience preferred.

Case Manager/Utilization Review: Full-time position. Provides hospital case management/utilization review and discharge planning to assure that the patient progresses through the continuum of care and is discharged to the least restrictive environment. Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience in case management or utilization review in an acute care setting or related healthcare experience; minimum 1 year experience in discharge planning preferred. Registered Nurse required.

Medical Assistant, Full-time. MA certification or previous experience in a physician’s office preferred. Current CPR/AED certification required.

Desktop Support Analyst: Full-time, 40 hours/week. Installs, modifies and makes minor repairs to computer hardware & software systems. Installs peripheral components such as monitors, keyboards, printers. Supports end-user hardware and software systems, including printers, faxes, copiers, email, and wireless and telecommunication systems; troubleshoots PC systems.

Grant Project Director/Residency Site Coordinator: Directs and oversees implementation of project activities so that day-to-day operations are professionally and efficiently organized and administered. Works collaboratively with all the project key personnel and staff including community leaders and has primary responsibility for managing and implementing the programmatic goals for the project. Fulfills goals and objectives with a sustainable model; conducts evaluations and assessments; records, tracks and synthesizes pertinent information; manages data collected and identifies implications for planning and development of network activities; provides periodic structured analyses, feasibility assessments, and recommendations relative to the future direction of the project. Responsible and accountable for the proper conduct of grant funded activities; recruitment and oversight of the residency program in conjunction with the UNLV School of Medicine residency program director and the rural residency site director.
