Jeremy Hurst, FNP-C, Now Offering Cosmetic Laser Services

Are you ready to transform, rejuvenate and tighten your skin?

Jeremy Hurst, FNP-C, and his team of laser experts are excited to offer a new suite of services aimed at helping both men and women feel renewed, confident and beautiful.

“Whether you want to counteract the effects of aging, sun damage or environmental pollutants, we can help you reduce wrinkles, improve skin tone and texture, and even eliminate scars,” said Hurst.

Using a brand new Sciton laser system that was purchased by Humboldt General Hospital, Hurst and his team offer several different skin treatments.

Patients may choose from ProFractional Therapy, a quick laser procedure with minimal downtime and permanent results, or Superficial Skin Resurfacing—sometimes referred to as “the weekend peel”—since most patients feel comfortable enough to return to work within three to four days.

Hurst and his team also offer deeper skin resurfacing, which Hurst says is the best way to address the problematic lines around the eyes and mouth and chin. Complete healing depends on the depth of treatment, but typically patients can resume normal activities and wear makeup within a week.

Patients may also access Laser Skin Tightening, a minimally invasive procedure with no downtime, which tightens loose or sagging skin and reduces the appearance of wrinkles on the face, neck and abdomen.

Additionally, Hurst and his team offer high-speed laser hair removal—for all types of skin—using either the Broad Band Light (IPL) system, or for darker skin types using the ClearScan laser.

Hurst said he is excited to offer laser services to local residents. In fact, he is so impressed with the results that he carries before and after photos on his phone of those who have been willing to “test-drive” the equipment.

Treatment plans for facials vary by person. Hurst said for some people, one treatment will suffice; for others, like those with deep acne scars or discoloration, multiple sessions may be appropriate to achieve the results that person desires.

“We consult one-on-one with people to determine what they are hoping to accomplish, and then we suggest what we can offer that will fit with their vision,” said Hurst.

He added, “Usually, we can offer so much more than what they are expecting and that is truly an exciting service for HGH to offer this community, to have this kind of equipment available locally.”

While insurance does not cover any cosmetic laser services, Hurst said the procedures are very reasonable. Credit cards or cash are accepted, and for those looking for a special gift, gift certificates are also available for any procedure and in any amount.

For more information or to schedule an appointment for laser services at the office of Jeremy Hurst, FNP-C, please call (775) 623-3575. Or stop by 51 E. Haskell Street, Suite D, to pick up informational brochures on the available laser services.
