Lab Prices Going Down

We rely on feedback from our community to more completely fulfill our mission of being helpful and caring for those in need. Truly, we have come to know how important it is to listen. That’s why our ears perked up over the past several months as local residents indicated that our lab prices might need some adjustment. We commissioned a pricing study from LarsonAllen, LLP, and discovered that some of our prices were out of alignment. As a result, we have made some significant changes in lab pricing—a give back to the community of more than $1.3 million (based on FY 2013 figures). We hope that will help out our local residents. Also, if you need financial details about your lab tests, just ask. Our Patient Access to Healthcare representatives can help you know how much a lab test will cost, what your insurance will pay, what funding programs are available to cover the cost, and what your out-of-pocket expense will be. Call (775) 623-5222, ext. 1130, or feel free to drop by anytime Monday through Friday, during regular business hours, for a personal consult.
