Network Outage

HGH Update

Last Friday, February 12, 2021, our computer network experienced an outage that impacted our electronic records including file servers, email, and employee workstations. Hospital IT staff acted quickly to begin the process of stabilization and recovery. The Hospital is applying all available resources to address the outage, including both internal and external IT professionals. These groups continue to work to restore full network functionality.

Here’s what we are doing:

  • Patient care is, as always, our top priority. Thanks to the flexibility and hardwork of our staff, patient services have continued and should continue uninterrupted.
  • All PCs on the network will be cleaned or replaced.
  • Presently, it does not appear that any personal information has been compromised.
  • We will continue to provide updates and directives to hospital staff using internal communication tools.
