Thirteen senior students from Lowry High School attend class at the HGH EMS Rescue station where their ultimate goal will be to pass the National Registry EMT exam by summer 2013. The collaborative program is a first for HGH and the Humboldt County School District, but Superintendent Dave Jensen hopes it won't be the last. "This class is a perfect fit with our Career and Technical Education component," said Dr. Jensen. The group's main instructor is HGH EMS Rescue Education Coordinator Ken Whittaker. Special thanks to him and many others who have helped this program be so successful!
