Kudos to the HGH Employees Committee who celebrated Denim Day in Nevada on April 24 by bringing awareness to sexual violence. In addition to wearing denim, pins and hanging up posters, the employees decided to take the extra step and make a "change" by donating their change during lunch. In all, the group was able to raise $100, which was donated to Scrap Domestic Violence (ScrapDV). ScrapDV Executive Director JoAnn Casalez said the money will help her organization carry out its mission of bringing awareness to domestic and sexual violence in Humboldt County and the State of Nevada. Great job to HGHEC for their efforts! Even a little change can bring about change.
