Friday, we said goodbye to Lisa Davis, an OR nurse who has given 22 years of dedicated and compassionate care to patients. Lisa is moving to Reno to pursue the next phase in her life, but before she goes, we wanted her to know that she will be greatly missed. Lisa has spent the majority of her time working in the Operating Room or on the Med/Surg floor. Anyone who has been on shift with her knows she is a worker with a capital "W." She gives her all to every patient and every task. We've even seen her tackle some great stuff outside the hospital as well. Lisa has become a regular participant in each year's Spook Night Halloween fundraiser produced by Winnemucca Grammar School. She has also been involved in the Abundant Tree Gift Giving Program at HGH, which provides Christmas to this area's foster children. In fact, it seems that every time we have posted a "we need help" email, Lisa has been one of the first to respond, offering her help, no matter the task. She has impressed us and we will miss her. Good luck, Lisa. Thanks for blessing us with your energy, enthusiasm and desire to always do a good turn.
