December 23, Humboldt General Hospital said goodbye to longtime trustee and board chairman Moe Hanzlik. Moe has faithfully served Humboldt General Hospital for the past 12 years as a hospital trustee; he has also served as a volunteer EMT since 1977. HGH EMS Rescue Chief Pat Songer presented Moe with his official EMS badge, no. 934, which will now be retired. Moe thanked his fellow trustees throughout the years along with administration and staff for an outstanding experience. He said his daughter is alive because of his time with the ambulance service. "That's enough for me," he said. Thank you, Moe. You have been such an advocate for our community and our hospital. You will be missed!
