Congrats to Jasmine and Dusty!
Two graduating seniors were the lucky--and deserving--recipients of scholarships from Humboldt General Hospital. Jasmine Diaz, daughter of Ana and Francisco Diaz, received $1,000 from HGH to pursue a health-related career. Jasmine plans to be a registered nurse and eventually work at a cancer institute. She will attend Great Basin College this fall before transferring to UNR next year. Coincidentally, Jasmine's mom, Ana, is one of the invaluable members of HGH's Housekeeping/Laundry Department. Dusty Bryan, son of Darlene and Rodger Bryan, received $1,000 from the HGH Employee Committee--money which is raised through the employee giving program. That scholarship is awarded to the son or daughter of an HGH employee. Dusty's mom, Darlene, is HGH's Chief Nursing Officer. Dusty plans to attend Brigham Young University in the fall. He would like to pursue a degree in engineering or business. Congratulations to both these fine students! We're excited to see what their future holds!
