Our Wonderful Nursing Staff

Our wonderful nursing leaders are always thinking of ways to improve patient care. Last week, during our annual review of services, Chief Nursing Officer Darlene Bryan said nursing has now fully implemented a rounding program that is aimed at creating a more exceptional patient experience by fostering relationships, meeting patients' needs and providing more consistent care. The idea is for nurses to visit each patient at least once an hour during the day and every two hours at night. During these visits, staff members check patients' pain levels, ensure patients are positioned comfortably, help patients take care of any personal needs (such as using the restroom) and check on the positioning of patients' personal items to ensure they are within easy reach. Of course, patients are welcome to use the call bell in between rounds for assistance with any needs, questions or concerns. We love our nursing staff and thank them for putting patients first.
