HGH EMS Honor Guard

The10th International Roundtable on Community Paramedicine was held in Reno from September 2-5, and one of the event's highlights arrived from HGH EMS Rescue. The HGH Honor Guard posted the colors at the event; Mike Bell also accompanied a stunning rendition of the Star Spangled Banner. The entire presentation was so moving that those in attendance became very emotional. One gentleman from England even noted that after having seen the changing of the guards at Buckingham Palace several times, he thought our honor guard was the more professional and polished group! It appears others think so as well. The guard is in demand and will be performing at various functions in the coming months. Pictured, from left to right, are Bugler Mike Bell, Master at Arms-Arms Bearer Enrique Ponce, State Flag Bearer Tim Spangler, Flag Bearer Monique Rose, HGH EMS Rescue Chief Pat Songer, National Colors Bearer Ken Whittaker, Arms Bearer Charles Paddock, and Commander Fergus Laughridge. By the way, this is the only all-EMS Color/Honor Guard in Nevada! Others are made up of fire or law enforcement.
