Humboldt General Hospital is gearing up for some Halloween fun, and area
youth are invited to participate.
From 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, October 31, youngsters are invited to stop by
the Harmony Manor Skilled Nursing Facility for trick or treating and the
chance to show off their costumes to residents.
Immediately following, from 5 to 8 p.m., also on Saturday, October 31,
all trick or treaters are invited to stop by the HGH EMS Rescue ambulance
station for more goodies and glow sticks.
Both facilities are located at 118 E. Haskell Street, on the main campus
of Humboldt General Hospital.
Additionally, crews from HGH EMS Rescue along with local law enforcement
will be on patrol throughout the evening in high-traffic trick or treating
areas to make sure children and parents stay safe.
Chief of EMS Pat Songer said it’s the least the hospital can do during
a time when parents worry about the safety of their children.
He said, “HGH EMS is happy to help make Halloween a safe holiday
for area kids.”
