Humboldt General Hospital will offer free sports physicals to area youth
this weekend.
The 2018 exams will take place from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, July 28, in
Suites F and G of the hospital’s medical office building, located
upstairs from the main lobby.
This is the 10th year that HGH has offered free sports physicals to all
Lowry High School, McDermitt High School, Winnemucca Junior High School
and Humboldt County youth sports organization athletes who will participate
in school-sanctioned or community sports.
Additionally, any other youth in need of a physical examination for other
activities such as scouting are invited to participate.
Students will be served on a first-come, first-served basis; no appointments
will be scheduled. Last check-in is 11 a.m.
Free physicals are only offered during each year’s sports physical
clinic and are not available free of charge from HGH providers at any
other time.
Humboldt General Hospital will provide copies of the NIAA sports physical
form that students will need. Other students, such as scouts, will need
to bring their respective forms. All students must be accompanied by a
parent or guardian.
