Humboldt General Hospital Available for Online, On-Site Business

Humboldt General Hospital is open for business, while continuing to prioritize the safety and health of its patients, staff and community.

However, for convenience and speed, Business Office and Medical Records staff ask that residents utilize online and phone services as much as possible to ask questions, fill requests and resolve billing issues.

The hospital offers a range of services that make it possible for people to conduct business with the hospital without physically visiting its location.

Patients may call the HGH Business Office at (775) 253-3058, to discuss estimated treatment costs, insurance coverage, Medicare and Medicaid information, qualifying funding programs, application help, current account information, and counseling and payment plans.

The hospital’s website also contains valuable Business Office information, especially with regard to billing statements and self-pay balances.

Patients who still have billing questions after reviewing the hospital’s website information may call (775) 253-3058.

Additionally, patients may pay their bill by:

  • Calling (775) 253-3058, for credit card payments;
  • Dropping off payments in the “mailbox” outside the hospital's main entrance;
  • Mailing checks or credit card information per the information on patient billing statements to: Humboldt General Hospital, 118 E. Haskell Street, Winnemucca, Nevada 89445;
  • Paying online via the HGH Patient Portal;
  • Making a payment to the hospital's billing company, via phone or website, per the information on patient billing statements; or,
  • Making a payment to the hospital's collection agency, via phone or website, per the information on patient billing statements.

For medical records requests and patient results, Humboldt General Hospital suggests patients begin with the online Patient Portal.

For patient results that are not available through the patient portal, HGH Medical Records will email patients a medical release form, which includes a request for identification. Any medical records will be mailed rather than shared via phone or email. More information is available by calling (775) 623-5222, ext. 1805.
