HGH EMS Rescue is dedicated to providing high quality health and safety education to the residents of northern Nevada through its public education program.

American Heart Association CPR Training Center

As an American Heart Association CPR Training Center, HGH EMS Rescue joins the world’s foremost authority on resuscitation science, education, and training to provide lifesaving training to the residents of northern Nevada.

The AHA CPR Training Center not only provides CPR-related education to healthcare professionals, industry and laypersons, but HGH EMS Rescue’s designation also allows our professionals to train instructors who can go forward and educate the next generation of rescuers.

American Heart Association instruction is available for:

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR for Healthcare Providers
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Heartsaver CPR, AED and First Aid
  • AHA CPR Instructor
  • ACLS Instructor
  • PALS Instructor

Additionally, the center staff can customize courses to meet any person’s or group’s specific training requirements. All programs are certified by the American Heart Association.

Additional EMS Training

In addition to its CPR curriculum through the American Heart Association, HGH EMS Rescue also offers public training courses for clinicians that are approved through the Nevada State EMS Office. These courses include:

  • Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
  • Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT)
  • Emergency Medical Responder (EMR)
  • EMS Instructor
  • Pediatric Education for Pre-Hospital Professionals (PEPP)
  • Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS)
  • Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS)
  • Community Paramedicine
  • Car Seat Inspection

Other NAEMT courses are also available.

Recertification

Recertification and refresher courses are available for all EMS disciplines.

Personnel

HGH EMS Rescue has dozens of EMS professionals at its disposal who each bring a diverse skill base in the emergency medical services field. Our professionals serve residents across more than 10,000 square miles, three counties and parts of two states in some of the most rugged terrain in the United States, so their experience in the field, coupled with sound knowledge of the course topics, provides participants with the best educational experience possible.
