Respiratory Therapy
The Respiratory Department at Humboldt General Hospital provides complete
and comprehensive care to those suffering with breathing or other cardiopulmonary
disorders. Practicing under medical direction, respiratory therapists
assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care therapeutic treatments
and diagnostic procedures. As a member of the patient care team, respiratory
therapists consult with physicians and other healthcare staff to help
develop and modify patient care plans. Our multidisciplinary team approach
means that our medical and pulmonary experts are working together bringing
their combined skills and expertise to your plan of care.
