Infusion Services at Humboldt General Hospital

At Humboldt General Hospital, our highly trained registered nurses provide a wide range of infusion therapies—so you don’t have to travel far for the care you need. Infusion therapy includes intravenous (IV), subcutaneous (SQ), and intramuscular (IM) injections. We also offer specialized nursing care for PICC lines, ports, and midlines, including dressing changes, lab draws, and maintenance flushes.

Our Infusion Department is open Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and we’ll work with your schedule to ensure your treatments fit into your day.

What Infusions Do

Infusions deliver medications and treatments directly into your bloodstream or body tissue, providing faster and often more effective results. These therapies are commonly used for chronic conditions, serious infections, hydration support, immune disorders, and more.

Our goal is to keep patients close to home—saving both time and travel costs by offering advanced treatment options right here in Winnemucca.
